The ambulance swerved to miss the car and ended up in a ditch near Ten Ten Road on Sunday.
Two EMS workers were taken to Wake Med, with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.
Authorities say the driver of the car kept going.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
