Johnston County Sheriff's Detectives have charged 33-year-old Arnold Anthony "Tony" Teague Jr. with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
He is being held at the Johnston County Jail without bond.
His wife, 28-year-old Minnie Pearl Teague, is charged with accessory after the fact.
Authorities said the investigation is still ongoing. A motive for the crime has not being released at this time.
