A pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a car Tuesday evening near Cameron Village in Raleigh.

It happened shortly before 5 p.m. at the corner of Clark Avenue and Woodburn Road.

Two people were taken to the hospital with what are believed to be nonlife-threatening injuries. Police say one was the male pedestrian and the other was the female driver of the vehicle that hit him.

The driver was apparently injured when she attempted to get out of her vehicle and the car dragged her a short distance.
