FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. --
One person was taken to the hospital for evaluation of possible smoke inhalation after a morning house fire.Firefighters were called to 2267 Jenna Shane Drive at around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, they found fire coming from the garage and attic area of the home.
The two story house suffered extensive damage to the garage and second floor area. The fire was marked under control at 6:30 a.m.
Firefighters were searching for three pets who went missing.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
