Cheating scandal at Wake County high school

Allegations of a cheating scandal are being investigated at one Wake County high school.

It allegedly happened at Panther Creek High School and involved four juniors. At least one of the students was a member of the National Honor Society.

The school said at least three separate cheating incidents are under investigation, including one where copies of an exam were passed out.

One of the students has been suspended for up to five days. The other four are receiving various forms of detention.

The school has not released the names of the students involved.
