Bomb threat at Cabrini College was a hoax, officials say

RADNOR, Pa. - March 17, 2013

Radnor Police descended on the Cabrini campus at 9:45 p.m. Sunday after someone called the student community phone on the second floor of Woodcrest Hall.

A student answered the phone and the caller stated that there was a bomb in the building.

The student who answered the phone notified authorities.

Radnor Police arrived and evacuated the residents to another dorm.

Cabrini spokeman Gene Castellano said after a thorough investigation, officers determined the threat was unfounded.

Students were allowed back inside by 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Woodcrest Hall houses a total of 155 students.
