The wet weather was expected to continue through the weekend. On Saturday, there is a chance of scattered storms in the afternoon and temperatures are expected to be hit the upper 80's.

A dip in the jet stream will continue to train a deep, tropical air mass into the area through the weekend and into early next week. As multiple upper-air disturbances pass through the area, each will trigger a round of showers and thunderstorms. With multiple events expected the next couple of days, there is an increasing potential for local flooding problems due to the amount of moisture present. How extensive flooding gets will depend on where the most concentrated showers and storms occur.
