12-year-old shot while walking in Durham neighborhood

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A 12-year-old was shot Sunday night while walking in the 3600 block of Keystone Place in Durham, according to police.

Officers said the boy was walking through the neighborhood around 10:30 p.m. when he was shot in the leg.

He was transported with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not released any information on a suspect.
