RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The arctic temperatures are expected to remain in central North Carolina this week and there's another chance for winter weather by the end of the week.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday due potential for winter weather in the Northern parts of central NC.
Monday night: A stray rain/snow shower in the evening. Otherwise, expect a clearing sky late and cold air punching into the region. Low of 26.
Tuesday-Thursday: Bright and brisk. Wall-to-wall sunshine. Highs in the upper 30s to low 40s (but feels like temps in the low to mid 30s during the afternoon).
Friday: Increasing clouds. High of 41.
Friday Night - Saturday: Watching an area of low pressure that will bring rain and the chance of a wintry mix. The track of the area of low pressure is key and we will watch it closely. High of 40.
Sunday-Monday: Bright and blue with highs in the low 40s on Sunday and upper 40s by Monday.

The cold blast will last through next week. Feels-like temperatures toward the end of the week could be in the low 30s in the afternoon.
There looks to be a wintry mix from Friday night into Saturday morning.
