Raleigh bank robbery suspect may have struck again

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police need the public's help to find the suspect who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in the 600 block of Oberlin Road Thursday morning.

It happened just after 9 a.m. when the suspect passed a robbery note to a teller.

After the robbery, the suspect fled on foot and was last seen traveling in a northerly direction from the bank.

There were no injuries reported.

Police described the suspect as a black male with a light complexion in his 40s to 50s.

During the robbery, the suspect was wearing the black leather ball cap, black jacket, white dress shirt, and a dark colored tie.

According to police, the suspect's appearance is similar to a suspect who committed a robbery at the Wells Fargo bank in the 2600 Hillsborough Street on the morning of Dec. 8.
