The bus collided with a car around 3:15 p.m. Saturday. Police tell Eyewitness News a car made a left turn in from of the bus in the 3300 block of Blue Ridge Rd.
The car's two occupants were transported to the hospital with significant, but non-life threatening injuries.
Two passengers on the bus were also taken to the hospital, but suffered only minor injuries. The driver was not hurt.
As a result of the wreck, power lines were damaged. Progress Energy was on the scene preparing the line.
The names of the people involved have not been released. Charges are pending against the driver of the car.
