A farmer called sheriff's officer around 1:58 p.m. Thursday to report a body in the woods on Seven Bridges Road between Whitakers and Battleboro. .
When deputies arrived on scene, they spoke to the farmer who said he was taking down an electric fence on the property when he noticed a body approximately 40-feet inside the wood line..
The body appears to be a female about 5'3" to 5'4" tall. The weight and race have not been determined at this time..
The investigation is ongoing.
