Man who rammed trooper faces more charges

A man who led state Highway Patrol troopers on a high-speed chase last week is facing more charges.

Aaron Burnley wrecked his minivan during the chase on I-40 that ended near an airport exit. He was charged with DWI immediately following the wreck.

Early this week, he was charged with assaulting a trooper by ramming the trooper's patrol car during the chase.

Thursday night he was charged with habitual DWI. According the arrest warrant, Burnley was charged with DWI three times in 1999 and twice in the same day in Virginia.
