The gunfire rang out around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning on East Martin Street.
Police say Corinthia Wright was struck in the back. She was taken to Wake Med. Her injury is not life threatening.
Brandon Stukes, Xavier Sapp, Christopher Reese, Frederick Nelson, Christopher Mickens and Dimarcus Bell were arrested in connection to the shooting.
