The home owner told detectives she and four other friends had cooked out earlier and were sitting in the living room. Shortly thereafter, the suspects entered the home wearing black ski masks and pointing guns. The homeowner's dog gave chase and was shot and killed by the bandits.
No other injuries were reported.
Detectives are searching for the suspects.
