Investigators say 28-year-old John Willie McKoy beat the woman for about 30 minutes in her home Friday morning.
He's accused of kicking in the front door of her home around 3 a.m.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the victim stabbed and choked with numerous contusions on her face. She is in serious condition.
McKoy is wanted on numerous felony charges.
