I am beginning to see rain pouring down here on Topsail Island.
The wind has increased and people are running inside their boarded homes. Most vacation homes are empty as tourist season ended. But locals and remaining tourists are beginning to see that the effects from the storm is finally hitting close to home.
Sunny to cloudy in just a few hours -- it is now heavy winds and rain here on Topsail beach.
