High level of chemical found in water

The level of a dangerous chemical in the town's drinking /*water*/ is higher than what is allowed by law. Recent tests show the level of trihalomethanes is above safe levels.

It has been linked to an increase in cancer at high levels of exposure.

Officials say there is no immediate danger and the water in OK to drink. However, people with specific health concerns should consult their doctors.

Officials say the drought could be to blame, and they are working to fix the problem.
