Man killed outside Fayetteville shopping center

Fayetteville Police are searching for two possible suspects responsible for a shooting that killed one person.

Authorities found 20-year-old Gregory Leon Mosley shot in the torso in the driver's seat of a black Mazda MPV Thursday afternoon around 4:15 p.m.

The Mazda was parked outside the Q Cigars Tobacco Store in the Strickland Bridge Shopping Center at the intersection of Strickland Bridge and Fisher roads.

Mosley was unresponsive and was transported to Cape Fear Valley Hospital where he was confirmed deceased.

A witness told officers two men ran into woods across the street from the shopping center.

The incident is under investigation. Officers are reviewing surveillance tape from a store in the shopping center.
