Campus police say when told no, the man approached the student in a threatening manner with a knife and a struggle ensued.
The suspect then grabbed the student's cell phone, which had fallen on the ground and took off.

DURHAM It happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The student says he entered at the Lewis Street entrance, off Anderson Street and was walking when a man approached him and asked for money.
