Crane collapses in north Raleigh

RALEIGH

Crews were called to 8317 Six Forks Rd., near Possum Track Road around 10:05 a.m.

No injuries were reported. The crane apparently fell on a 132,000 sq. ft. building that is about six stories high.

The building, which is under construction, only had a steel frame.

Choate Construction is the lead construction company on the site, and the building is for the Genworth Mortgage Company.
