The police officer was slightly hurt, and four of the five people in the SUV were treated and released from area hospitals. The driver of the SUV was more seriously hurt, and was still hospitalized Monday.
Police have not released the name of the SUV driver. They say the police officer was travelling at - or near - the speed limit, but the driver of the SUV was allegedly speeding. No charges have been filed.
