Many students skip snow day

RALEIGH Spring break was supposed to begin. Instead, students had to make up a snow day from earlier this year.

Not surprisingly, many students skipped class.

At Davis Drive Elementary, 20 percent of students were absent. The school usually has an attendance rate of about 96 percent.
