Terrell was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word if anyone in the vehicle was hurt, or if any charges are pending.
The name of the driver of the car is not being released at this time.
Bicyclist strikes car, dies
ORANGE COUNTY North Carolina State Highway Patrol Troopers say 23-year-old Ian E. Terrell was riding his bicycle east on the shoulder of Lebanon Road around 2 p.m. Saturday, when he veered into the path of a vehicle heading in the same direction.
