Man shot during struggle with robbers

RALEIGH The victim told police he was waiting for a friend outside the Walnut Bluff Condominiums on Violet Bluff Court Monday night when two men approached him.

The suspects, whose faces were covered, demanded money and the victim said he resisted.

During the struggle, one of the suspects shot the victim in the rear. He is expected to be okay.

Police are looking for the suspects, but have not released a description. The victim's name also has not been released. It is not clear if the suspects took any money.
