Trooper charged with DWI

DURHAM Investigators say Trooper John C. Fogg, 40, was involved in a crash with another vehicle on the Durham Freeway.

Fogg was off-duty and driving his personal vehicle at the time of the accident.

Investigators say his blood-alcohol content was .17.

Fogg is assigned to Wilson County and was sworn in as a Trooper in August 2007.

The Highway Patrol has ordered an internal investigation into the matter and relieved Fogg of his duties pending the outcome of the investigation.
