Officers say they were called to the shooting at 606 West Markham Avenue just after 5 a.m. Thursday morning. They found Riddle dead in the basement of his home.
About 20 minutes later, they arrested Bledsoe at his home on Redwood Road.
He's in the Durham County jail without bond.
