NCCU leases buses for school use

DURHAM The brand new 2009 buses will be used to transport students, faculty and staff to cultural and athletic events.

The buses are named Eagle One and Eagle Two. They are equipped with satellite TV and radio, Wi-Fi, video monitors and a DVD player.

"The division of student affairs takes very seriously the stewardship of the student fees and other monies," says Vickie McNeill, special assistant to the vice chancellor.

The school says the cost of the buses is cheaper than flying.
