Man surrenders in shooting

SPRING LAKE Eric Jervey, Jr., 28, of 205 Apt. B Law Road is charged with attempted first degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, felony conspiracy and first degree burglary.

He turned himself in Saturday morning.

Jervey was wanted for the October 26 shooting of 28-year old Norman V. Brown and 26-year old Tony Brown both of 1324 Alden Street, as well as 31-year old LaQuan Demar Whitted of 932 Country Club Drive, Fayetteville.

All three men were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment to their wounds.

Jervey was expected to make a first court appearance Monday.
