Fire destroys Raleigh home

RALEIGH

The fire started at 3713 Blue Blossom Drive in Raleigh around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning.

Investigators say the flames began in the garage.

Fire officials say Carl Jones, his fiancée, and his daughter were all inside the house. They were alerted by a smoke detector and made it out safely.

Fire Investigators say the home is likely to be a total loss.

There were no injuries, and investigators do not yet know what caused the fire. The fire was under control by 2:34 a.m. Sunday.
