The flight originally came from Dallas to Philadelphia.
According to WPVI in Philadelphia, it was the Dallas TSA that received the threat that there was a bomb on the plane.
Officials in Philadelphia immediately pushed the plane away from the terminal and took it to a remote location at the airport.
All passengers were taken off the plane and the aircraft and luggage were examined.
The all clear was been given and it appeared no one on the plane was taken into custody.
Southwest Airlines told ABC11 Eyewitness News passengers re-boarded the plane and touchdowned at RDU just after 6:30 p.m.
