The victim was killed in the parking lot of West Lake Elementary School in September 1999.
Earlier this month Bryant's brother, Eric Reney Bryant, was also charged with first degree murder in the same case.
Bryant is currently placed in jail under no bond.
The investigation into the case is continuing.
