They say 19-year-old Tanilo Rosales-Figueroa, 1304 Mockingbird Lane, Durham, is from Mexico and has no driver's license. Investigators have received a few tips about Tanilo Rosales' whereabouts, but they've yet to make an arrest.
Troopers say Bryant Mitchell, 37, and Timothy "TJ" Parrish Jr., 24, died early Saturday morning when their Ford station wagon hit a tree near Miami Boulevard and Pleasant Drive. Investigators say they were eastbound on US 70 at Pleasant Drive when the front left side of Rosales-Figueroa's SUV hit the rear right side of their car - spinning it out of control.
Investigators say the Chevy Trailblazer driven by Rosales-Figueroa was located in Durham. He's charged with felonious hit and run resulting in serious injury and/or death.
Anyone with information about Rosales-Figueroa's whereabouts is urged to contact the NC Highway Patrol at (800) 662-7956.
