Twenty-year-old Kevin Key pleaded guilty to the murders of his father, 54-year-old Eddie Key, and 11-year-old Bradley Way.
Authorities say Eddie Key was shot and killed inside his home in 2008. Bradley Way, a fifth-grader, was found beaten to death near his home after a robbery attempt in 2004.
Kevin Key had avoided being charged in Way's death after implicating another man -- Victor Gamble. Gamble was sentenced to life in 2006 after pleading guilty to avoid the death penalty.
