A resident tells ABC11 Eyewitness News that the blast blew off her next door neighbor's garage doors.
She said police told her propane tanks exploded causing the damage. A bomb squad was called to the scene.
Officials say the source of the explosion was propane gas, but the source of ignition has not been determined. The Wilson County Inspections Department has condemned the residence.
A man inside the house, Christopher Brady Watson, was flown to an area hospital. He suffered third degree burns in the explosion. Watson is currently at NC Burn Center in Chapel Hill.
