Police responded to a stabbing call on Black Creek Road around 8:10 p.m.
Officers found a 15-year-old male with wounds to his torso. At last check, he was stable at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Police arrested Alexandria Gear, 29, and charged her with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Police say she and the victim's father have children together.
Investigators say Gear and the victim got into a verbal disagreement that turned violent.
Gear is being held at the Wilson County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
