Law enforcement officials attend gang training in Durham

Hundreds of North Carolina law enforcement officials will be in Durham beginning Tuesday for a training session on gangs.

The North Carolina Gang Investigators Association is hosting the 2010 Gangs Across the Carolinas training conference. The conference ends Thursday.

Organizers expect more than 425 local, state and federal law enforcement officials will participate.

Participants will get training on advanced gang investigations, hate groups, criminal tattoos and other information.
