Deputies say they discovered resident Adekoya Nixon, 22, inside the residence dead from a gunshot wound.
One suspect, 22-year-old Lamonte Tiffany Brower, was tracked a short distance from the residence. He had a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was transported to Cape Fear Valley Hospital for treatment.
Later, he was charged with homicide, robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of kidnapping, and breaking and entering.
Brower was being held without bond in the Harnett County Detention Center.
After gathering witness statements, authorities say they believe there is at least one additional suspect in involved in the incident.
