John Lewis Chapman II, 22, of 3668 Wayne Memorial Drive was arrested Friday morning.
Police said the first assault took place March 18. The second happened Friday morning.
Investigators said Chapman was linked to the first attack through evidence analysis by the State Bureau of Investigation.
They also said his alleged involvement in the second assault was discovered after his arrest.
