18-year old Kyle Kozlowski was killed when his truck crashed off of Loop Road in Johnston County.
Friends of the Clayton High School senior described Kozlowski as the type of person who was always cheering others up. They also said he was always full of joy.
Grief counselors were at Clayton High School this week for students who wanted to talk about their friend. Some students also attended a special vigil in Kozlowski’s honor over the weekend.
The funeral is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. today at the Greater Heights United Methodist Church-Clayton Center on Second Street in Clayton.
An obituary said condolences can be made to the family at www.mclaurinatpinecrest.com. It also asked that instead of flowers, memorial contributions were being accepted at Greater Heights UMC and with the Special Olympics.
