Suspects ditch car during chase

DURHAM Sheriff's deputies say they spotted a suspicious looking vehicle on Highway 98 around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. When officials went after the car, a chase quickly ensued.

The chase ended on Wedgedale Avenue when four people stopped the car and jumped out.

Authorities were able to catch one of the people, but the other three are still on the loose.

They say the vehicle was stolen and believe it was about to be used in an armed robbery.
