According to FSU spokesperson Jeff Womble, a man threatened to come onto campus at 5 p.m. Monday and shoot someone. The names of the suspect and the targeted person are being withheld. Womble says the suspect is not a current student.
University police warned students and faculty about the threat, but nothing happened at 5 p.m.
The Fayetteville Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
