The Forest Gump star was one of the guests at the annual Fallen Special Operations Soldier Memorial ceremony.
Thirty-one Army Special Operations Forces soldiers died in the past year while supporting combat operations.
Their names were added to the Fallen Special Operations Soldiers Memorial Wall adjacent to U.S. Army Special Operations Command headquarters building.
Family members and friends also attended.
