Child hit by car at N.C. State game

RALEIGH Investigators believe the girl, described as being approximately seven- or eight-years-old, dived for a football, and was struck by a backing vehicle while she was on the ground.

The unidentified girl was taken to WakeMed with what police belive is a broken leg.

The girl's identity has not been released.
