RALEIGH Raleigh Police say Samuel Zachary Johnson, 24, of Chapel Hill, was riding the motorcycle in the area of Glenwood Avenue and I-540 eastbound at about 10:30 p.m. Friday when a car driven by Carolyn Elizabeth McCormick, 37, pulled out in front of him.
Johnson died as a result of his injuries.
McCormick is facing charges of making an unsafe movement and misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
