Shots fired in Chapel Hill, no injuries

Police are asking for information from the public after a shooting incident early Saturday morning.It happened just after 2:30 a.m. near a city parking lot on East Rosemary Street.

Police responded to reports that two groups of black males exchanged gunfire and fled the area in an unknown direction.

There were no reported injuries.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the shooting is asked to call Chapel Hill police or Crime Stoppers.
