U.S. Marshals and Cumberland County homicide detectives arrested Tobijah Nelson in New York. He's charged with accessory after the fact in the murder of a soldier.
In March 2009, officers said 24-year-old Demar Bryan shot two people inside the Ikola Jamaican Lounge in Spring Lake. Twenty-seven-year-old Charles Clemens died.
Clemens was based at Fort Hood, Texas, and was home on leave from Afghanistan when he was killed.
A Fort Bragg soldier survived the shooting.
Bryan was arrested several months later by detectives in Seabring, Fla.
Nelson is being held without bond at the Queens House Correctional Facility for men. He is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
