Soldier killed in motorcycle accident

FAYETTEVILLE

The ambulance was on the way to an emergency call just before 8 p.m. when a 1993 Harley Davidson driven by a 39-year-old Benjamin Pasley, of Raeford, collided with the ambulance.

The ambulance was traveling east on Owen Drive and the motorcycle was traveling north on Eastern Boulevard.

Pasley was an active duty soldier stationed at Ft. Bragg.

Police said neither speed nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the crash.
