Starting Friday, workers will reduce the roundabout from two lanes to one. Detours will run through Saturday morning.
Police have logged more than 100 crashes since the roundabout opened in 2010 with many drivers saying they were confused about the second ring.
Drivers will still have two lanes as they enter the roundabout from some approaches, but the outer lanes will be marked for right turns only.
