Daniel Caleb Tucker, 20, of Murdocksville Road in West End, was charged with two counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Moore County Sheriff Lane Carter said deputies got word of the shooting August 6. Kyle Chisholm and Zackary Strehle reported they were traveling on Murdocksville Road when their truck was shot with a rifle round. Chisholm was injured in the assault and treated at Moore regional Hospital and released.
Tucker was placed in the Moore County Detention under a $5,000 secured bond.
